HUMANS AND ANIMALS

We all have feelings—love, fear, joy, sorrow.
We all experience pain, comfort, and longing.
We all cry in anguish, laugh in delight.

We all have neurons weaving thoughts,
memories shaping our past, instincts guiding our present.
We all eat, sleep, dream, and strive for survival.
We all form bonds, communicate, and seek companionship.

Yet, humans elevate themselves:
“The most intelligent, advanced, and favored creation of God.”
But pause for a moment—
What if cats believe they are divine beings,
dogs see themselves as guardians of the world,
crows think they are the wisest,
and donkeys… well, they must wonder why humans
are so eager to offload their burdens onto others.

Perhaps, in the grand scheme of existence,
we’re not as different as we imagine.
Perhaps intelligence is not just in building cities,
but in living harmoniously with nature.

So, with that thought—
Are we humans? Yes.
Are we animals? Absolutely.
And maybe, just maybe, animals are a little more human than we think. 🤔
