In religion, most people do not read the fundamentals of the scriptures. But they gather their religious knowledge or information thru a third party, like sermons or lectures from priests or religious leaders. It can be biased or prejudiced. But this is where the mindset of religious views gets embedded that often stays lifelong or even passed on to the next generation.

Spot on Sir. It gets skewed with the half baked knowledge and many time such priests are not knowledgeable, though not all and there is always an agenda to make money.
